A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME —
Mia here! I'm a Michigan-based photographer who is absolutely enamored with the storytelling aspect of photography. Rather than hitting a pose and snapping a picture, I aim to capture authenticity and genuine moments through every photo that I take—photos that feel like they’re straight out of a movie! I tend to lean towards a vintage feel with warmer tones in my work. Feel free to take a look at my portfolio!

Now... let's get into who I am! I was born and raised in Metro Detroit, Michigan, and I’ve had a love for taking photos ever since my mom bought me a pink digital camera when I was 8 years old (to be honest, I think she only did that so I would stop using her expensive Nikon camera, lol). In high school, I competed at the CrossFit Games three years in a row and ended up becoming the world’s 7th fittest 16-year-old in 2019 (I know, crazy. I still can’t believe it myself). During my time competing in CrossFit, I met my husband, Dylan. He also competed at the CrossFit Games and was the world’s 3rd fittest 16-year-old in 2018! Fast forward four years, Dylan and I got married at the White Horse Inn in Metamora, Michigan, on September 9th, 2022. We bought our first home together in May of 2023 and are seriously living our best lives!

- I used to be a medical assistant at a DPC office
- I love movies. Like LOVE them
- I got baptized with my Husband in July of 2021!

When I tell you my mind is literally exploding with different types of shoot ideas, I'm not lying. From following the two of you to your favorite local coffee shop, visiting your local book store, grabbing ice cream, even chasing the sunset. I'm IN. Not to brag, but I consider myself a professional third wheeler. To kind of help you get your creative juices flowing, I'd have you share with me/ create a Pinterest board with what your vision is looking like. I'll also keep in close contact with you to get a feel for what I feel like vibe of your shoot should be. I love chatting on the phone, but if you're not into that, texting is just as good!
